Equity, Diversity, Inclusion (EDI) Week 2018 is quickly approaching! Faculty, staff, students, and members of the public are invited to join us for our keynote presentation "Spotlight on Race: Recruitment and Retention with an EDI Lens" delivered by Dr. Carl E. James at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21. Join Dr. James as he unpacks structures and mechanisms that serve to enhance or hinder equity in employment, especially for Black and Indigenous scholars, administrators, and support staff.
Human Resource Services will be moving our websites to the current version of Sitecore, the University's content management system (CMS). As part of this upgrade we are reorganizing our content based on audience. Information for people who do HR work on campus will remain on the HRS website; however, information for employees will move to the institutional Faculty and Staff website. This change will make it easier for both HR professionals and faculty & staff to find the information they need.
As a follow up to the HCM Production Notice sent March 1, 2018, starting with the pay period of February 16 – 28, 2018, students who have more than one appointment with taxable earnings and also receive a separate scholarship, award or bursary payment will now see two pay cheques. A separate payment for each cheque will be sent to the bank resulting in two bank deposits.
