The signed form is required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and must be completed before payment can occur. Departments can now prepare the form for staff to sign at the same time as the appointment letter and attach the completed removal grant form to the appointment letter to submit to Academic Services. If received by Academic Services by the form’s deadline, the staff member will be able to receive his/her funds on the first paycheque instead of the second or third.
