Auxiliary Hourly Trust Employees Eligible for General Illness Leave

As of July 1, 2013, Auxiliary Hourly Trust paid employees are eligible for general illness coverage under the Trustholders Extraordinary Expense Fund (TEEF). This means that a surcharge of 1% salary will be collected beginning July 1 from any trust employees not funded from a Tri-Council Grant who have acquired auxiliary status of more than 1707 hours of employment.

A trustholder can submit an application for reimbursement for an auxiliary hourly trust employee from the Trustholder Extraordinary Expense Fund (TEEF) for a general illness that occurs after July 1, 2013 that is in excess of 30 days.
