Support Staff: Lump Sum Payment

Support Staff who are actively employed by the University of Alberta on November 30, 2013 will receive a one-time payment up to a maximum of $400 which is subject to statutory deductions. Support Staff who have worked full-time for the last 12 months are eligible for the full amount; others will be pro-rated. The payment comes as a result of the negotiated settlement from the 2012-2015 collective agreement as outlined in the Memorandum of Settlement. Support Staff will automatically receive the payment on their regular December 24 paycheque via direct deposit. Support staff who are on leave will receive the payment on their first regular paycheque upon returning to work. Please see the Lump Sum Payment webpage for more information.
