New Manager for Organizational Health and Effectiveness

Earlier this year Human Resource Services began the process of merging Health Promotion and Worklife Services and Organizational Learning and Effectiveness. The managers of each of these units took voluntary severance, and we created a new manager position in the merged unit, Organizational Health and Effectiveness (OHE). HRS initiated a competition for the new position in July. The process is now complete and we are very pleased to announce that Gerry McCune has been appointed Manager of ​the new OHE team​ within HR Consulting Services.

Many ​of you know Gerry from her work with us over the past year and a half as the consultant who conducted the HPaWS Mandate Review in 2013 and has helped lead implementation of the Report's recommendations since last December. Gerry brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this new role and we are very excited that she has agreed to join our team. Her appointment will be effective September 15, 2014. In the meantime, Gerry will conclude her current consulting assignment and take a well earned break.
