- Since increment structure will need to be negotiated, along with any across-the-board salary change, there is no increment value determined yet for staff under all 7 Academic Staff Agreements. Therefore, increments that have been awarded for July 1, 2015 implementation will not be added to salary until after negotiations with the AASUA have been completed.
- Eligibility for promotion to full Professor (for effect on July 1, 2016) will be notionally calculated on the current value of increments within the current salary schedule. That salary scale can be found here: http://www.hrs.ualberta.ca/PayandTaxInfo/SalaryScales.aspx
- Changes in rank resulting from FEC decisions relating to probation, tenure and promotion will be entered into the system as of July 1, 2015. Any changes in salary associated with a change in rank will not be implemented until negotiations with the AASUA have been completed.
