As of November 21, 2015, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) no longer accepts the IMM 5802 and the Employer Compliance Fee payment receipt from foreign nationals applying for a work permit. If you have foreign nationals who received these documents and did not apply for their work permit prior to November 21, 2015, you will need to take the following action:

Updates to Support Staff Prescription Drug Plan - Effective January 1, 2016
The Support Staff Benefits Committee has approved a number of prescription drug plan design changes that will be effective January 1, 2016. These include prior authorization for speciality drug therapies and changes to non-specialty drugs, maintenance mediations and over-the-counter products. This will affect all salaried support staff who use prescription drug plan benefits within the Support Staff Benefits Plan. Visit the Support Staff Benefits Plan Changes webpage for more information.

Support Staff: Spending Account Allocations
On January 1, 2016, eligible support staff members will receive a total allocation of $1,250 to divide between their Health Spending Account (HSA) and Personal Spending Account (PSA). Beginning November 2, 2015 staff will be invited via email to allocate the $1,250 between their two spending accounts before the open enrollment window closes on December 1, 2015. More information about the Personal Spending Account or Health Spending account can be found on the HRS website. You can also contact your Pension & Benefits Advisor if you or staff in your area have any questions.
