On December 11, 2015, the Alberta government’s Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act (2015) came into effect. This Act requires that the University of Alberta disclose the name, position, compensation, non-monetary benefits and severance for all employees whose total 2015 remuneration plus severance exceeds a threshold of $125,000.
