Updates to AASUA Retroactive Pay

For terminated AASUA employees, retroactive pay will be processed by August 30, 2016. For active AAUSA employees, HRS will be issuing reports on retroactive pay to all departments following the monthly pay confirm.

Delay in Processing Retroactive Pay for Terminated Employees
The HRS team has been working diligently for the past few weeks to complete the processing of the AASUA retroactive settlement. In order to complete a thorough review of all terminated employees since July 2015 and validate all the calculations, the retroactive pay for terminated AASUA employees will be processed by August 30, 2016 paydate. All terminated employees will be paid through direct deposit based on current banking information in Bear Tracks. In the absence of banking information a cheque will be issued and mailed out to current address on file/Bear Tracks.

Reports on AASUA Retroactive Pay for Active Employees
HRS will be issuing reports on retroactive pay to all the departments following the monthly pay confirm. This will provide departments with the necessary information to address any questions from employees regarding their retro pay. Departments will serve as the first point of contact for retro pay related inquiries.
