Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help given to someone developing a mental health problem or in the midst of a mental health crisis. The course is intended for staff members who, in their current role, have regular and ongoing dealings with staff and students. Each participant will receive a resource manual and, on completion of the training, a certificate.
When: August 23 & 24, 2017 (Both days must be attended for certification)
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Coffee and tea will be provided. Participants are responsible for their own for meals).
Where: University Terrace, Room 1-38
Cost: There is no cost to attend the workshop however, a faculty/department speed code must be provided at the time of registration in case of cancellation.
Register: **PLEASE NOTE: Registration opens July 12th.** Registrations will not be accepted prior to the 12th. Email org.health@ualberta.ca complete with name, department, and speed code.
