Enriching Professional Development and Creating Pathways for Career Mobility

As we continue our important work supporting FPG Objective 15 (Fostering a culture of excellence by enriching learning and professional development opportunities for staff, faculty and postdoctoral fellows) and FPG Objective 3 (creating pathways for career mobility), Human Resource Services and the Objective 15 steering and working groups along with the Support Staff Career Progression Working Group request your support as we solicit input to understand the professional development and career progression needs and experiences of our faculty, staff and postdoctoral fellows.

To gather stakeholder feedback, a comprehensive online Career Progression and Staff Development Survey has been created to solicit the input of all faculty, staff and postdoctoral fellows. Please encourage all your team members to participate and complete the survey by the closing date of July 15, 2018. Please note this is an extension of the previously shared closing date of July 8, 2018. All responses to the survey will be anonymous. Please make sure you take time to complete the survey as well!

The information gathered from the survey will identify emerging themes and recommendations that will be used to shape the University’s approach to supporting professional development and career mobility and guide the development of an evidence-based plan. Survey results will be shared publicly with all stakeholders.
